We are going with option #1! Lan Xichen was able to convince him to let Lan Wangji's body go so no staff will get terribly harmed. So I would love another chat with Mad March (who he will hopefully not punch on sight...). Also he will likely be staying in LWJ's room until he returns so..however that works with the Mad March sighting.
