Sounds good to me! Mikumo would definitely want answers and is the type to act on getting them as soon as possible, and she'd feel more comfortable doing it with someone else in a situation where she doesn't have a good comparison point for what's going on. And they can always write to each other on the Empathies since they're both losing hearing, which makes things easier (especially since Mikumo would've been "programmed" with knowledge of English so she won't have to rely on auto-translate).
